Tough Mudder
The first Tough Mudder endurance event took place in 2010 at Bear Creek Ski Resort in Pennsylvania. Since then, it has grown into a global phenomenon. One reason for its success is that Tough Mudder competitions aren’t time, because the company believes in fostering teamwork and comradeship, rather than individual competition. Perhaps most importantly is that Tough Mudder designs its events to be fun. It uses barbed wire, fire, electricity and a lot of mud to create an exciting challenge.
